It’s not often that we see a 10-year celebration of marriage and renewal of vows. It’s perhaps more typical at 25, 50 or beyond. As Alison and Travis’ pastor noted so well, it is such a success, a gift and a testament of dedication to each other to remain happily married. It is indeed something to celebrate, and it shouldn’t necessarily wait for those traditional golden dates. So it’s pretty darned awesome that these lovebirds bucked the trend and renewed their wedding vows. And as their friends, family and three beautiful offspring (what a wonderful example they have to witness, huh?!) watched on, it made our hearts tingle!
Side note: This couple happens to share the name “Bowersock,” so they are extra near and dear…and cool![]()
Prior to the ceremony, Alison put on her wedding dress (yes, the original one still fits!) and Travis sported his suit and tie for a fun little session that began at a local winery and ended in their backyard.

You’re not a Bowersock unless you’re willing to do some crazy fun stuff![]()

Seriously, who has bamboo in their yard? They do!

And an apple orchard!

And a treehouse that makes us big kids drool. Cool fact: much of the wood was sourced from the same land!

Welcome to the Car Wash…

Sprite: official drink of the Bowersock’s Vow Renewal

Mr. Handyman Travis constructed this beautiful arbor out recycled landscaping timbers and found limbs in the yard. Genius!

Mama Martha Stewart crafted these red-velvet edible mum pots!

I might have gained a pound or two this day.

Their daughter Cadence sang a Taylor Swift song beautifully…it was awesome.

Cheers to 10 years!
