Shawna and Seth planned the best DIY wedding ever. And I mean EVER. Shawna’s family bubbles over with talent and creativity, and all hands were on deck for their stellar backyard celebration. We’d been anxious for this wedding all year, knowing that it was going to contain so many meaningful elements and personal touches. The day was perfect, the weather couldn’t have been better, and their family/friends…well, we now understand why they are totally adored by Shawna and Seth.
Shawna’s a multi-tasking bride

Our biggest “WOW” moment: seeing Shawna’s dress. Handmade. By her mother. No patterns. Absolutely breathtaking! As you can see, this is no simple work of art.

So mom (Marcia) is pretty unbelievable, right? Well, she has three dynamite sisters too. And they were masters of the kitchen. Take note of these delicious blackberry cobblers. I can attest to their deliciousness!

Oh, on a side note…one aunt made the cake. SHE MADE THE CAKE! I think I was gasping just about every 5 minutes. Still am!

Putting on the dress must have been a magical moment for Marcia and Shawna.

And here’s Seth! Gasp!![]()

Who did the flowers? Who else?! Mom and aunties!! Also notable are the bracelets…locally made.

We needed only to go across the street (no kidding) to this sculpture park to discover some more wonders!

Shawna’s a LIVESTRONG girl. I dig it.

Tent parties = really good fun

A friend played their awesome first dance song.

Here are the Super Sisters! Pretty special ladies.

We typically reserve the end for the vendors, but I think I’ve covered them all easily! We were really blessed to be able to be a part of this celebration. Below are some more details not to be missed! Thank you Shawna, Seth and families.
