It was one hot, sticky day. But it was beautiful. Among the tall forest trees, the green of summer encircled us, the quietness drew us in, and we witnessed a most intimate union between Megan and Cody. Brown County is a gem in Indiana…we spend a good deal of time in the park camping and biking, and we were especially excited to experience a wedding there. The backdrop was spectacular. And the union between Megan and Cody and their families was something special. We count ourselves lucky to have been a part of it.
This sums it up!

Here’s a great perspective. Notice the flower pots surrounding them at the bottom of the image…all from their yard AND those on the pedestal were decorated by their children!! How wonderfully awesome is that?! I love the simplicity and the meaning behind it all.
And yes, she did catch the bouquet!
Then came the games…this one was a race to see who could unroll the toilet paper the quickest.
The TP holder could barely hang on!! Cody wins.
They stood back-to-back and answered questions about each other (i.e. Who is most pleasant in the morning?), voting with his and her shoes. This was very funny!
We also played photographer games. In this case, it was the ring competition
(Guest favors were LIVESTRONG bracelets and donations to the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Probably my favorite favor ever!!)
