There was no way I was going to be able to wait until all of the photos were edited from this last weekend’s wedding to post this photo. The moment I took it, I thought of how I’d NEED to post it before anything else. It was on our way to take this photo that I started thinking about the one simple thing that brides and grooms can do to ensure themselves the most amazing and beautiful wedding photos… trust your photographer! You spent lots of time selecting the perfect people to document your day. Now all you have to do is trust them. We hardly ever run into this issue anymore, but I know this can cause problems for photographers.
This past weekend we had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Lindsey and Ryan’s wedding. And luckily for us, they handed over the reigns and enjoyed the ride. We were finishing up some shots on the circle and were running out of time because the newly married couple were expected very soon by their waiting guests. We love doing shots at the circle; it makes for a nice background and tends to have some nice light, but not AMAZING light. Well Jen had to grab a bag across the street and noticed some AMAZING light in a nearby alley way. When we mentioned the option of doing a couple more shots in the alley way, they were completely up for it. And as we walked that way, I thought about how some brides may cringe at the idea. After I finished up the shot, I saw what those brides would have missed out on…
This!

Trust your photographer. They do this for a living!
(Congratulations Ryan and Lindsey! Thank you two for being amazing to work with. We can’t wait to show you more of your photos)
