It’s that time of year again; the Special Olympics of 2010 have begun. And before the first competition could start, the torch had to travel from Victory Field in Indianapolis to Indiana State University’s campus in Terre Haute. That’s about an hour and fifteen minute drive… but really, that’d be too easy. Instead, the brave men and women of Indiana’s Law Enforcement ran it there. And in the event of doing so, they raised a lot of awareness and even more money for Special Olympics of Indiana.
Here are some photos from the kick-off at Victory Field.

The president of Special Olympics Indiana gave some encouraging words.

Participants were rearing to go!

Good Luck all Special Olympic participants!.. be brave in the attempt!
