Restaurant of the Month {March 2010} | Siam Square

A little spice is really nice.  That’s why we choose Thai cuisine for our March outing!  Siam Square is located in the heart of Fountain Square, and it is a haven for lunch-goers.  At least that’s what we observed…and we wouldn’t be surprised if dinner time brings an equally packed house.  It’s a place I read about in area publications, and I’d driven by once, noting the location.  With our car pointed towards Fountain Square, I figured we could find it easily.  Thanks to the bright, cheery red awning and a lucky curbside opening, we were there, and our tastebuds were cheering!

Great atmosphere, great service and flavor that is INTENSE!  The food was really wonderful.  The lunch special allows you a soup and spring roll, both fabulous.  I had the Red Curry Chicken.  Kurto ate Chicken Pad Thai.  Mouthwatering!!!

What a delight…we loved it, and we’ll do it again!

Jennifer Bowersock - Thanks, Al! Yes, we have had Rene’s! In fact, in our recent post about the farmers market – http://www.bloggersock.com/2010/02/what-knocks-our-socks-off-indy-winter-farmers-market/ – we show a picture of their rum raisin pastry! We have not, however, had their cookies, but we should definitely give them a try. Please continue to pass on any goodies you hear about!
