Ok, so he’s really 1 in a week, but close enough! I think it’s pretty neat having a birthday near Thanksgiving…many family are near to celebrate, AND the birthday treats keep coming with several days of delicious dinners! His jars of sweet potatoes will never be the same. Marshmallows and brown sugar, please!
On a beautiful fall Friday, we joined Alex and family at the park. He was lookin’ sharp in his suspenders – love em.
He loves balls. This is his favorite – the dog likes it too

The park has a carousel. It is closed for the year, but Alex was looking for a way to enter.
Instead we decided to play in front of it’s circus-striped curtain.
We hung by the railroad tracks and played with rocks. Ever see a one year old write his own name!?! — genius!! :)
Alex was constantly exploring, and he ventured onto this small patch of moss. He liked it so much and may have gotten his daily dose of vitamin K
