As usual, there’s a shift in what we’re shooting around this time of year. The weddings start slow down and the portraits pick up. We shot three sessions this past Saturday. It started off with our longest running clients – The Meier Family! This is one of those cases where we’ve really gotten to see the family grow through the years. We consider ourselves really lucky to have the opportunity to document them year after year.
For those of you who have been following our blog for a while, the Meiers don’t really need an introduction. But for those just starting… here they are.

Carey and Dan – As always, it’s such a joy to see you all and spend this time together. I’m sure the huge smile on my face gives it away, but my favorite part is when they hop out of the car and start looking around asking, “where is Kurtis? There he is!” We do feel really blessed to continue photographing your family each year. It’s great to not even have a second of that uncomfortable feeling kids have when working with someone new. We hope you enjoy the photos. There’s plenty more to come.
